Post 99 Honors Police Officer and Firefighter of the Year

On May 12, 2022 the members of Joseph E. Frobisher Post 99 held a dinner to honor the Kearny Police Officer and Firefighter of the Year.

Commander Keith McMillan and Vice-Commander Len Twist presented plaques recognizing the honor to 2021 Kearny Fire Department Firefighter of The Year Yamil Miranda and Kearny Police Police Officer of The Year Sean Kelly.

The dinner, held at Post 99, was attended by Kearny Mayor Alberto Santos, multiple members of the Kearny Town Council, and members of both the Kearny Police and Kearny Fire Departments.

A special presentation was also made to Retired Deputy Chief Robert “Ozzie” Osbourne in recognition of his more than 38 years of service the Kearny Fire Department.
